Opis epizode
Our guest, Marijan Živić, is the father of a 6-year-old autistic daughter, Ana. In this conversation, he shares his personal journey from the first subtle differences he and his wife noticed in Ana’s development, through the process of early intervention, and into the present day.
He reflects on how communication begins long before words, and how everyday routines can become the foundation for learning. Along the way, he also speaks openly about burnout, responsibility, and the emotional weight of trying to do everything right without having a clear roadmap.
At the heart of the conversation are the quiet victories like a gesture or a first word, and how these small moments can reshape not only a child’s development, but an entire family’s perspective.
These experiences eventually led to the creation of WordTube, a platform Marijan built directly from working with his daughter. In the next episode, we’ll explore how those methods were translated into a structured tool, and the technology behind it.
This episode is for parents, educators, therapists, and anyone interested in autism, neurodiversity, and the reality of supporting a child’s development.
