What does true inclusion look like? In this episode of the Metautism Podcast, we welcome back Iva Klarić, a mother of a child on the autism spectrum and coordinator of the Plavi Cvijet association in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Iva shares her perspective on the challenges families face after an autism diagnosis, the gaps in education and support systems, and why individualized approaches are so important for autistic children and young people. We also explore how technology can open new possibilities. Whether it's a communication tool that help non-speaking children express themselves or VR and XR experiences that allow young people to explore vocational education and different careers before making important decisions about their future. Iva reflects on her overview the Metautism project, what she has seen change, and why inclusion requires much more than acceptance.
